Pakistan: The clouds of civil war are once again looming over Pakistan. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said on Saturday that if their leader and former PM Imran Khan is not released, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers will take to the streets with guns. He also urged Imran Khan to stop advocating peace. Imran Khan has been in jail for a long time and military trials are expected to begin against him soon.
Imran stop advocating peace
Addressing a function in Abbottabad, Chief Minister Gandapur said, Imran Khan! For Allah’s sake, stop advocating peace. When we come out with weapons, we will show who runs away. His statement comes at a time when the jailed PTI founder has warned that if his demands, including a judicial inquiry into the protests in November, are not met, he will start a civil disobedience movement from today.
Case already registered against Bushra Bibi and KP CM
Let us tell you that a case has already been registered against former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. Shahbaz Sharif’s government has termed PTI as a party of “anarchists and saboteurs”. These cases against Bushra Bibi and Gandapur are related to the killing of security personnel and the attack on the federal capital during the PTI march. At the same time, if these violent protests happen again, then it will be interesting to see what action Shahbaz Sharif’s government takes.
