The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of heavy rain in many districts of the state till September 22. Due to this, yellow alert has been issued in at least 20 districts and people have been advised to be alert.

It includes Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Rohtak, Sonepat, Rewari, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Mewat, Palwal, Faridabad, Panipat, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri.

The Meteorological Department has specially advised that the people of these districts should keep an eye on the weather conditions and stay safe. Motorists are advised to park their vehicles in a safe place, preferably away from trees and power poles.
