At the same time, Hezbollah has also claimed to have targeted 8 places in Israel with missiles last night. According to Israel, 55 rockets were fired by Hezbollah.
Earlier, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) carried out an air strike in Lebanon on Monday, targeting 1600 Hezbollah targets. It was claimed that 10 thousand rockets were destroyed in these. At the same time, the Lebanese Health Ministry said that 558 people have died in this attack so far. These include 94 women and 50 children. 1,835 people have also been injured.
According to Al Jazeera, this is the biggest attack on Lebanon after the Israel-Lebanon war in 2006. In 2006, 1000 Lebanese people were killed in the month-long war. Currently, schools and colleges have been closed in Lebanon till Wednesday, September 25. People have been sent to safe places.
Israel has named the operation being carried out in Lebanon as “Northern Arrows”. IDF claims that Hezbollah hides missiles in houses in southern Lebanon which have been firing at Israel for almost a year.
