Ransom of 8 Lakhs Paid

Initially, the kidnappers had asked for 20 lakh rupees, but after Sunil’s friends were contacted, they tried to arrange the money. Sarita explained that Sunil had communicated with friends, asking them to transfer at least 5 lakh rupees. He sent them a QR code for the transfer, and when that didn’t work, he provided bank account details for the transaction. The money was transferred in several installments, and ultimately 4 lakh rupees were sent to the account of one of the suspects.
How Sunil Pal Was Kidnapped
Sarita described how Sunil was picked up from Delhi airport by a driver, who told him they were heading to Haridwar for a show.
