Toyota Camry 2024 Launched in India: Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has launched its popular luxury sedan in the Indian market today, December 11. The car has been priced at ₹48 lakh (ex-showroom). While the car was launched globally nearly a year ago, the version launched in India now comes with the latest-generation hybrid technology.
Compared to the previous generation model, the new Toyota Camry is priced approximately ₹1.83 lakh higher. The previous generation model was priced at ₹46.17 lakh. The Toyota Camry is built on the TNGA-K platform and has received significant updates in both design and appearance. This next-generation Camry features a 2.5-liter petrol engine paired with a hybrid motor.
Toyota’s Claims About the New Camry:
According to the company, the engine’s power output has increased by around 4%. The engine generates 230 horsepower. Additionally, Toyota claims that the car’s mileage has improved by 30%. The car features a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen for infotainment. It also includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The new-generation Camry is equipped with several safety features, including a pre-collision system, radar-based cruise control, pedestrian detection, lane tracing assist, and road sign assist. A standout feature of the new Toyota Camry is its 9 airbags. The car also comes with parking sensors and a 360-degree camera for added convenience.
